McConochie Big Seven Child Personality Index
(McBSI)
This 58-item test measures seven normal personality traits of children: Extroversion, Agreeableness,
Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability, Openness, Tranquility and Activity Level. It provides separate
scores for each trait. Research shows that clinically referred children as a group tend to be lower
than non-clinical children on all seven traits. Therefore, this personality information is important
in understanding one's children as a parent and clinically referred children as a clinician.
Completed by a teenager, or by a parent rating a child. |
